Released by kidnappers ,Adamawa APC Chieftain

After spending three days with his kidnappers, Amidu Mijinyawa, President of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the Demsa Local Government Area, Adamawa was released. Mijinyawa was kidnapped in his house by gunmen, and the kidnappers demanded N20 million ransom.
SP Othman Abubakar, the spokesman for the Adamawa State Police Command, confirmed his release and said that Mijinyawa was released on Saturday, sound and heartfelt. He didn't mention, however, whether or not the ransom was paid. " For now, all I can say to you is that the kidnappers released Mijinyawa, "he said. 
In the meantime, Dr. Anugbum Onuoha, Special Advisor to the Government of the State of Rivers, was also released after 14 days by his kidnappers. The Rivers State Police Command noted that he was rescued by joint efforts of the state security agencies and is receiving treatment at present.
A statement by Nnamdi Omoni, Command Spokesman read: "The special advisor on land and survey to the Governor of Rivers State has recovered his freedom. "yesterday he was released from his abductors by the joint efforts of the state security agencies. He has been dismissed and receives medical attention. "
