CSOs Accusing Keyamo Of Plotting Deji Adeyanju Arrest and Detention

Coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) has charged Festus Keyamo, spokesman of the campaign committee of President Muhammadu Buhari, with the arrest and detention of Deji Adeyanji, Convener of Concerned Nigerians. Dare Ariyo Atoye, Coordinator of the Coalition for the Defense of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution, said Keyamo 's "stoic sile "at a press conference in Abuja on Saturday. 

He said that Keyamo may have played a key role in designing and implementing the plot to keep Adeyanju out of circulation to protect Buhari 's interests and his campaign. He said, "We had already written a letter to Keyamo requesting his intervention. Accordingly, it is almost impossible to escape this conclusion, as Mr. Keyamo 's in society 

" It is almost impossible to resist the conclusion that Mr. Keyamo may have chosen to sacrifice his professional ethics on the altar of protection of the regime and at the expense of justice." He added that Adeyanju had spent 50 days in detention, noting that he had suffered a double risk of human rights assault.
