The Pentagon sends troops to the Mexican border

The US sends nearly 4,000 soldiers to its border with Mexico for three months, the Department of Defense said, to "provide additional support "to border security and customs agencies. The new deployment will increase the number of active border duty forces to "about "4,350, "he added.
The extra powers are said to be sent for 90 days, yet a "portable reconnaissance ability" will be given until the finish of September, as indicated by the Pentagon. The powers are set to build new boundaries at the fringe, specifically somewhere in the range of 150 miles (241km) of security fencing.

The sending was endorsed by Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan back on January 11, as per the announcement.

Dynamic obligation warriors were first sent toward the southeastern fringe last October, as a few substantial vagrant trains attempted to move into the US through Mexico. The propel came just of the midterm decisions and was bludgeoned by Trump's faultfinders as an attention stunt.
The first deployment saw nearly 6,000 soldiers moving to the border, but most of them have since returned to their bases. The fight against illegal immigration and the construction of the border wall was one of Donald Trump 's main campaign promises, which the Democrats faced. The offensive led to the longest shutdown in American history, as Trump insisted on $5.6 billion for his wall and development
