The campaign limit for presidential Candidates is N5billion- Anthonia Okosi

INEC says it is intently observing effort spendings of political parties, candidates towards the imminent races. 
Talking on plans of the commission to guarantee consistency with the law, Anthonia Okosi-Simbina, INEC national official, said the commission has teamed up with significant organizations to guarantee that political parties maintain as far as possible for all campaign spending plan. 

As indicated by Section 91 of Nigeria's Electoral Act 2018 (altered), the campaign limit for presidential competitors is N5billion, while hopefuls campaigning for seats in the National Assembly are not to spend past N70million. 

She noticed that any applicant that surpasses the farthest point would "have themselves to the fault". 

She stated: "We will check adverts on papers, TV, radio, announcements and we should see to the end. The individuals who spent past what the legitimate system accommodates or spend preposterously will have themselves to a fault." also expressed that the enrolled offices would work with the electoral finance and gathering observing bureau of INEC to screen supports spent by all contender for the campaigns 

INEC Assistant Director, Ishaq Garba Aliyu, Campaign Finance Tracking Unit, said the commission has prepared its staff to intently follow each reserve spent by political candidates.

"We have assembled the limit of the staff individuals. They audited the following structures to incorporate separate structures for hopefuls and political parties. The following finishes upon the arrival of the race," he said.
