Equity Olabisi Akinlade released and vindicated Arogundade's five co-respondents Mustapha Layeni, Adebayo Abdullahi, Seyi Pabiekun, Sikiru Rufai and Yusuf Arogundade of a two-check charge of connivance to submit murder.

Equity Akinlade passed the sentence following a three-hour judgment which began at 2.35p.m.

The judge held that the arraignment could demonstrate past sensible uncertainty that Arogundade killed the policeman, NAN reports.

Before conveying the judgment, for security reasons and to dodge interruption of procedures, the judge requested that the court ought to be bolted and the keys kept in her ownership.

As indicated by the indictment driven by Mrs C. Rotimi-Odutola, the convict submitted the offenses on April 10, 2010, at Gbara Junction, Aiyetoro, Ajegunle, Lagos.
