Federal High Court Abuja has banished the Nigerian government from solidifying the records of Walter Onnoghen, the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), aside from there is a court request guiding it to do as such.
Equity Ijeoma Ojukwu allowed the request on Monday, on an ex parte movement, documented by the Legal Defense and Assistance Project Ltd/GTE.
Equity Ojukwu stated: "The Attorney General of the Federation must get a court request before solidifying the records of Justice Onnoghen Walter.
"That where it is demonstrated that the request of the court was acquired before the solidifying of the records contained in Exhibit B, the solidifying request will stay substantial."
The judge dismissed the issue till February 13, 2019, while requesting the respondents to be served before the following intermission.
