On Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari hosted the members of the House of Representatives and presidential candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja. The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reports that President Buhari and his guests attended a closed meeting later.
The dinner was attended by Comrade Adams Oshiohmole, National Chairman of the APC, and Boss Mustapha, Secretary of the Federation Government. Others, including Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and other members of the APC, were present.
NAN gathered confidently that the meeting would discuss political issues, including the upcoming general election. As at the time of filing this report, the outcome of the closed-door meeting was still awaited. The chairman had Jan. Twenty-eight APC Senators and similar dinner candidates hosted the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
