Babachir Lawal detained in custody of the EFFC

A Federal High Court in Abuja today ordered that the former Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, be detained in custody of the EFFC pending the determination of his bail application scheduled for tomorrow  Earlier on Tuesday, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged him before the court with a 10-count charge of fraud. 
Lawal argued not blameworthy to the 10-check charge of N544,119,925.36 leveled against him by EFCC. He is being attempted close by Hamidu David Lawal, Sulaiman Abubakar, Apeh John Monday, Rholavision Engineering Limited and Josmon Technologies Limited Law, which was said to have a private enthusiasm for supporting N544,119,925.36 for the expulsion of obtrusive plant species and improved water system.
