Sylvester Adaka, the Streams State Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation (NBA), was the casualty of an assault by a few hooligans suspected to be partnered to lawmakers on Wednesday.

He encouraged the attorneys not to cause inconvenience inside the court forms as they challenged the position of the directing judge, who said the sitting was as it were to require records of court forms, whereas hearing of movements would be done at an afterward date.
However, likely maddened by the dissents of the attorneys, the hooligans, who needed procedures to proceed, assaulted the NBA Chairman and beat him up. Tonye Cole, a governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was said to be in court amid the occurrence and communicated disappointment at the activity of the thugs. Commenting on the occurrence, Dennis Okwakpam, a previous NBA Chairman, Harbour Harcourt department, said: “It is one of the darkest days within the life of this nation. Individuals who ought to know or are learned are playing legislative issues with everything.”
